Wetherspoons profits dented by Brexit-related consumer (lack of) confidence

£40million reduction in Wetherspoons half-year profits ‘nothing to do with Brexit’ claims Boy Brexit.

Tim ‘man of a few people’ Martin failed to see the link with reduced consumer spending (of which Brexit uncertainty is a proven factor) and instead blamed interest rate rises and costs instead!

He’d just say anything to drive his crusade forwards and is unable to answer a single interview question using facts! If I was a shareholder (which I never would be considering his exploitation of workers) I would be worried that his ideology will only cause further significant profit drops
